High holidays

Michal brought these pomegranates home yesterday, a sign Rosh ha-shana (Jewish new year) is getting closer. Next week, September 1 the kids go back to school after a vacation sinse June 20! Than at September 8-9 is Rosh haShana, New Year, followed by Jom Kippur (Day of Atonement) at September 17-18. September 12-15 we have our yearly get-away from work (I signed up before I knew I am going to be laid off) to a Tel Aviv hotel. Than September 22 - October 1 is the Succot holiday (building of the booth outside and eating in it for 8 days). And finally on October 5-11 I am chaperoning my mom on her trip to the Netherlands!
