This week

Thank you all for your comments on my last post. I really appreciate it!

Last Thursday I received a call if I could help out at the local post office of the Israeli Post as they were a man short, and as I am without work since September 2010, I said yes! So Sunday and Monday I worked at the post, stamping letters, gluing stamps, sorting post, placing it in post boxes, receiving parcels etc. and I really liked the work! Too bad there was a lot of standing involved, which I can't since a hip-replacement. I felt broken in the evening, so I quit after two days. I loved the job, really interesting, but just not right for me physically.

Than Tuesday January 18th was our 23th wedding anniversary! 

I can't believe it's been 23 years since our "student-wedding" in Groningen.

and a baby-son in heaven.

Hubby took a day off and we did some sightseeing, visited the ancient town of Sepphoris, the Sea of Galilee, Capernaum and had a nice meal at Yunis on the way. Still, need to download the photos, so will post them later!

Tomorrow is Tubishvat, the national day of the trees. Working on that, as well as the One world, one heart giveaway to be announced soon! And I am waiting for a carpenter who needs to see what can be done about our kitchen, to make space for a dishwasher (anniversary present). So busy busy! Which is good to get out of the January blues :)
