From yesterday till today we were blessed with almost a 100 mm of rain. We have a dry season from April till October and a wet season from October till April in which we get about 700 mm of rain in total (yearly) which is our (drinking)water reserve for the long hot summer! So to get 100 mm in one day is truly a blessing :) The plants and trees need it very much and the shades of green next to the wadi are beautiful!
I love the rain outside on the window and the candles lit inside! I wish it would snow here too (the last time it snowed in the kibbutz was in 1959 I heard), but the rain is good enough for me!
When the rain stopped this morning I went with Sarai to see the wadi in our kibbutz, coming down from Mount Carmel.

Wat klinkt dat lief, helaas vinden de meeste mensen hier het geen zegen als het regent. Mooie dochter heb je en je maakte ook mooie foto's Elsina.
