Kitchen make over

This kitchen was custom made in 1992. I ordered it in white and navy blue schleif-lack and got it in white with a weird kind of petrol blue I never liked. Originally it came with an antique style kitchen tap, which broke a couple of years ago and was "temporarily" replaced with a modern tap I hated. Than the spot lamps...hate them most of all! (these are old photos, not the best quality)

This is a large kitchen for Israeli standards, but it's quite small really and the dish rack took loads of space.  A couple of years ago we got a dishwasher. Part of the kitchen had to be broken out.

That was better already!

Than we replaced the horrible spots with an Ikea lamp with ledare bulbs!

Some of the doors really needed some repair after 20 years and finally last week I decided to take the kitchen apart, repair the doors, paint the petrol blue out which I hated and finally replace the kitchen sink tap and the old defect hood over the stove.

Photo Below: top old hood and tap, bottom new hood and tap.

Hubby sanded the doors, Yael primed them and I painted two coats of grey.

I photographed the kitchen before (sorry about Bastet being on the counter :)

and here is the kitchen after the makeover!

I really love the grey and it makes the kitchen look bigger I think.

Have a great weekend!
