Our move from the Netherlands to Israel in 1988. We married in January 1988 and moved two months later.
The note on the card reads: Wellwishes of our neigbhours printed on dotmatrix in 1988! and the words on the travellabel read: march 1988 we move from Holland to Israel.

This is one fabulous layout. So much attention to detail and what a wonderful family keepsake.
It must have been a traumatic move going so far, but you sound happy in your new home. I have only been to Israel once but it was truly wonderful,like you I love history and culure of which it has so much to offer.
