New coasters

I bought these cheap coasters at the one dollar store for 60 cents. They had this rather ordinary butterfly pattern on them. I took one of my scrap papers,  old French letter and glued it on the coasters with mod podge, distressed with Tim Holtz distress ink, colored the sides, then distressed them badly with sandpaper and finally sealed them again with a topcoat of mod podge. Bound together with a ribbon and a fleur de lis charm, they make a lovely present. But I think I keep them :)
