A wedding card

The daughter of a colleague and good friend is going to marry this week and I made this card for her. She and her future husband both work in China and are just for the wedding home, but will return after. I painted the Chinese "double happiness" symbol on the front, symbolizing two people holding each other on the journey of life, on red paper, for luck, for a long life together in love and happiness :)

Used:
  • black pelican ink and Chinese calligraphy brush
  • red shimmery card and envelope
  • green paper, stamped with a butterfly
  • Versa mark dazzle frost
  • Tim Holtz distress ink
  • stickles cotton candy
  • red and pink paper flower
  • red jewel brad
  • black punched tape
  • 3 pink pearls
  • light pink with yellow flower carton, KC company Brenda Walton
  • green red flower paper, hey sugar striptease, cosmo cricket

Linking up to:
1.Simon Says (the sketch)
2.Sir Stampalot December (travel the world)
3.Sugar sweet paper treats (anything goes)

p.s. 3 days left to enter my giveaway!
